Every John Wilson blade is produced using laser technology for unmatched precision on the ice. The process commences with laser cutting to guarantee blade geometry accuracy to 0.004 inches (the thickness of a human hair). In 1696, King Charles II became fascinated with ice skating and requested John Wilson, a noted toolmaker of that era, make a pair of skate blades for him—and the world of ice skating has not been the same since.
