Alexandra Stepanova with Ivan Bukin claimed the Gold



AlexandraStepanova with Ivan Bukin claimed the Gold medal in ice dancing for Russia.  Last years  bronze medalists from the 2011 JGP Final, Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin are well on their way to making a repeat appearance at the 2012 JGP Final. Being very motivated with the Olympic games in sight, Stephanova and Bukin blew the competitors away with more as an 10 point lead. To be exact Stepanova and Bukin had a 11.72 lead before the second place couple, which shows us they are ready for this coming season.

 We are looking forward of many ore exiting performances from Alexandra Stepanova with Ivan Bukin this year and in the future.

Leah Keiser wins Gold



Leah Keiser wins Gold at the Junior Grand Prix in Turkey. The single events were dominated by the US skaters. Leah Keiser wowed everyone with her Junior Grand Prix debut in Turkey. Initially starting of third after the short program which included a triple Lutz triple toe combination, but with an superb free skate Leak secured herself the gold in the singles event.

Hannah Miller wins the Skate Detroit Championship, leading the competition by 1.17 points.

Hannah Miller landed 6 triples, two Flips, two Loops, a Lutz and a Salchow. She is still working on her triple-triple for the future, we are sure we will see much more from Hannah Miller in the near future.
