Ice Castle International Training Center was founded by former Ice Folies star Carol Probst and her husband Walter. Together they created the only true complete training center in the world. The Ice Castle facility is nestled in the forest at an altitude of 5,400 feet in Southern California's San Bernardino Mountains, less that two hours east of Los Angeles. This is only 80 miles from Los Angeles, but it's an entirley different world with fresh air, blue skies and a full cycle of four seasons.
Almost from conception, Ice Castle Internatonal Training Center has attracted the world's finest skaters and coaches since the dedicated figure skating rink was opened in 1988. Olympic Champion Robin Cousins from England began a long line of notables in the skating world to teach and/or train here.
