LAUSANNE, Switzerland -- The World Figure Skating Championships 2012 will be held in Nice, France.
The International Skating Union has scheduled the annual competition to take place in the Mediterranean resort city from March 26-April 1 that year.
It will be the seventh time France has hosted the World Figure Skating Championships.
It last staged the competition in 2000, also in Nice.
