The San Diego Figure Skating Club was incorporated in the State of California on July 27, 1940 as a non-profit corporation, and was formed "To foster, promote, encourage, advance and improve the art of and interest in ice skating; and to encourage and to cultivate a spirit of harmony and friendship among ice skaters by such means as may be proposed from time to time by our membership;" (Articles of Incorporation). We are also tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, which means any donations made to the club are tax deductible.
We are a US Figure Skating club with over 250 members who call sunny San Diego, California our home. Our home ice surface is the San Diego Ice Arena located in the community of Mira Mesa. Our satellite ice surface is the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center located in the college area of San Diego.
San Diego Figure Skating Club home ice surface is the San Diego Ice Arena in Mira Mesa. Our secondary ice surface is the Kroc Ice Center at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in San Diego.
