Broadmoor Skating Club

The Broadmoor Skating Club, Inc. (BSC) is a member of the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA). Currently, the Broadmoor Skating Club is one of the largest in the United States.

The Broadmoor Skating Club boasts
17 U.S. Champions,
3 Olympic Champions,
6 World Champions,
2 Jr. World Champions
5 World Professional Champions.

The Broadmoor Skating Club, through membership in the USFSA, encourages figure skating skills and knowledge through a series of tests to measure the accomplishments of the skater in the four areas of figure skating. These are moves in the field, free skating, pair skating and ice dancing. Skaters must be members of the USFSA before they can be tested. This system is used as a base for skaters to qualify for
the various levels of competition.

World Arena would like to congratulate the following medalists from the Broadmoor Skating Club at this year's U.S. Figure Skating National Championships!

Greetings to everyone from beautiful  Colorado Springs.  We are fortunate at the Broadmoor Skating Club to enjoy a superb three ice surface venue (two Olympic size and one an 8000 seat arena), a plethora of exceptional coaches and lots and lots of ice for training.  Of late, BSC has had some successes in the figure skating world, such that we are rapidly becoming an international figure skating training center for a number of talented skaters. The Broadmoor Skating Club continues to provide regular ice time for tests, weekly exhibitions and critiques for qualifying competitions for its members. This year, we again enjoyed hosting the 13th annual Broadmoor Open, the 3rd annual Pikes Peak Classic for Pairs and Dance and the 2011 Southwestern Regionals, including a robust non-qualifying competition.
