The Kelowna Skating Club, established in 1950, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing skating programs of all varieties to skaters of all ages and skill levels. The club and coaching staff take great pride in providing exceptional programs for the tiniest tot taking his or her first steps onto the ice to the competitive skater achieving his or her dreams.
As a traditional skating club, and consistently the largest club in BC, the KSC has offered a great variety of programs during all seasons of the year. In addition, the club has shown the ability to produce a high level of competitive skating, regularly producing provincial medallists and national competitors.
The KSC is also the host of the Okanagan Skating Academy (OSA), which is recognized as the Okanagan Regional Training Centre for Figure Skating. Established in 1995, it is dedicated to providing, hosting, and assisting with regional outreach initiatives, as well as providing a training “hub” for
Okanagan skaters and coaches.
